Trent Valley DA invites all Camping & Caravanning Club members to join us at Smeatons Lakes Caravan Site (rally field), Great North Rd, Newark, Notts, NG23 6ED.
Our friendly & helpful stewards are Stephen and Sarah, contact 07460479434. Fees are £15 per unit per night. Advise reception you are with Trent Valley DA and follow TVDA signs to our rally area once on site.
Using our own large heated marquee, with a program of LIVE entertainment & fun for all, come along & join us at this centrally located site.
No booking required - just turn up!
CCY & CCJ camping areas available at this meet.
PLEASE REMEMBER to stop on arrival & pick up a swipe card for site entry/exit from reception (£5 deposit) if you intend to go on and off site during your stay with us.
An ideal base to explore the local areas of Newark, Lincs, Nott's & Derbys, this site has lakes & parkland available, with fishing (additional fees payable) & nature walks. Small shop for available on site for basic supplies. Dogs welcome on leads.
Set within approximately 90 acres, Smeaton's Lakes is a quiet, rural haven of peace and tranquillity for fishing, nature walks, caravans, motorhomes and tents, and has been sympathetically developed as a nature wonderland for walkers and dog lovers alike, with prime fishing available on both of the lakes and the nearby River Trent.
Often described by new visitors as one of the East Midlands' best kept secrets, Smeaton's Lakes' close proximity to the A1 and A46 make it the ideal base from which to explore the many and varied attractions of this historic area.
Smeaton's Lakes can be found close to Newark Showground & Newark Air Museum. Take a visit to the historic Newark town centre with its variety of shops, market place, castle and river trips. Go by car, on foot, by cycle using the convenient cycle track, or catch a local bus from the bus stop right outside the main entrance.
Nearby is the village of Southwell, with its historic Minster, just 5 minutes away by car, whilst Lincoln with its many and varied historic attractions is just 30 minutes away.
