The Big Fake Festival 2019

The Big Fake Festival 2019

29th August to 1st September 2019, The Big Fake Festival 2019

Fri 30 Aug - Sun 01 Sept

3 Days – 24 Bands – Free Campsite

11.00am-12.00midnight Daily

 Thoresby Park, Nottinghamshire NG22 9EW

“The Big One” - our massive end-of-season finale is back for a 6th year! Now hugely anticipated, it's become traditional for us to all come together and end our UK Tour with this special 3-day event. Staff, crew, bands and yourselves — like a giant family — relaxing, rocking and partying. Trust us, we really do go out with a bang.

Set in the beautiful woodlands of Thoresby Park (Nottinghamshire), the festival is on a much larger scale than the UK tour dates and includes FREE campsite and secure parking for all. Join us, you'd love it.

Site Access

Arriving for the campsite

The campsite entrance will open for new arrivals on Thu 29 Aug from 12:00 noon and then daily at 09:00 on Fri 30 Aug, Sat 31 Aug and Sun 01 Sept.

The campsite entrance closes for new arrivals daily at 21:30.

Please ensure that everybody in your vehicle has a ticket ready for inspection. If you are travelling in different vehicles or different times to the rest of your group, please ensure that everybody has their own ticket.

Once tickets have been inspected, caravans and motorhomes may proceed to their dedicated area and be met by our staff to assist in pitch allocation.

For those camping in tents you should proceed to the campsite drop-off zone to off-load (max 10mins), before moving down to the camping car-park where our staff will be there to assist you in where to park.

If you have a disabled ticket will you be given the option of using our dedicated disabled area, once proof of disability has been established.

A one-way system will be in operation on the site and can all drivers please stick to the 10mph limit that is in force for everybody's safety.

The site entrance will have a drop-off and pick-up area for those who have transport arranged to the site. Please remember, only tickets holders are able to access the site past the drop-off area.

Visiting for the day

Follow the signs for the Day Car-Park (FREE), which opens daily from 09:00 for those who are not camping.

Once parked you should follow the directions through the small wooded area until you reach the festival entrance.

Cars left overnight must be removed by noon on Mon 02 Sept.

Thursday pre-scan

If you are arriving on the Thursday you should consider using our pre-fest wristband allocation at the marquee entrance between 17:00 and 18:30. Have your ticket scanned and wristband applied so that you can beat the queues the next day.

The tent area has no vehicle movement allowed at all. Do not try and park near your tent, all vehicles must be parked in the camping car-park.

Campsite close time

All campsite users must leave the site by Mon 02 Sept at 12:00 noon.

Friend and family camping groups

If your group has mixed caravans, tents and motorhomes then it might be possible to camp near each other, as the separate areas share the same boundaries. There are no guarantees of this and you would need to arrive early for this to even be possible.

If your group are all camping in tents it will be fine to pitch together. But if you take up too much room you will be asked to move closer together and we ask you to avoid pitching in tent circles with large center recreational areas.
